Ordera ("we", "our", "us") operates the Ordera restaurant operating system available at ordera-eg.com and via the Ordera mobile app. We help restaurants manage orders, menus, and customer interactions.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and optional phone number.
Order data: We store the items you order, the restaurant you ordered from, timestamps, and payment status.
Device & usage data: We collect standard web analytics including browser type, operating system, and pages visited to improve the service.
Payment data: We do not store card numbers. Payments are processed by third-party providers (Paymob, Stripe, Tap Payments). We only store a payment reference ID.

4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
Restaurants: The restaurant you order from receives your name and order details to fulfill your order.
Payment processors: Paymob, Stripe, and Tap Payments receive payment data subject to their own privacy policies.
Infrastructure providers: Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting) process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and order data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law (e.g. financial records).
We use cookies and local storage to maintain your session and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
8. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, contact us immediately.
9. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, Row Level Security in our database, and access controls. No system is 100% secure; we encourage you to use a strong password.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via a notice in the app.
